Sacramento-Area Summer Leagues
« on: April 07, 2014, 05:01:34 PM »
Hey there,

For those of you in the Sacramento area, I am proud to announce my upcoming summer leagues here at AMF Rocklin Lanes. Here’s an overview of the 3 leagues I’ll be running this summer:

No-Tap Doubles Challenge
Wednesday nights @ 7pm   |   2 person adult mixed teams   |   $13 per week   |   Starts May 21st, 2014

This is a fun doubles league with a unique format. Each week, you bowl 4 games of no-tap bowling in a round-robin match play style, meaning you change lanes and opponents each game. League standings are based on total pinfall. The league is also handicapped. With 15 teams, the first place price will be $1,000 for the winning team! This is a great league for all skill levels. Last summer, we had 22 teams and we look to have the same attendance this summer!

Thursday Night Shootout
Thursday nights @ 7pm   |   4 person adult mixed teams   |   $20 per week   |   Starts May 22nd, 2014

Looking for a more competitive bowling experience? Look no further. The Thursday Night Shootout is a new league coming to AMF Rocklin Lanes this summer and is designed with the more serious league bowler in mind. The league will feature a Peterson Point system as well as a minimum handicap average (170 for men, 150 for women). The league will also have a significant prize fund, thanks to sponsorships from local businesses! The league will play 3 games a week with 4 person adult mixed teams. League dues are $20 per week. This leagues is also on Facebook, check us out here: https://www.facebook.com/events/610184469059412/#

Sport Shot Sundays
Sunday nights @ 7pm   |   Singles   |   $15 per week   |   Starts May 18th, 2014

Our sport oil pattern league is back for another summer! This is the perfect way to improve your game on all levels. This is an unsanctioned league that will bowl on a selection of the 2013 PBA oil patterns (both animal and Major Championship patterns). The league will feature a singles format and be handicapped. Bowl 4 games each week against 2 different opponents. Weekly dues are $15 per person.

Hmm. Well im not in secretary of it but we do have an "It's Your Choice" league at the same time on Sunday as the sport shot league, and it is an Adult/Jr league, if your kids bowl. At the end you get like $200 in equipment.
