Alpha Crux vs No Rules
« on: January 16, 2017, 10:56:46 PM »
I'm looking for opinions comparing the No Rules vs the Alpha Crux.  If you've thrown both pieces, please post your feedback.

What's your thoughts on them?  I'm interested in the Alpha, but until a company cuts me a check for using their stuff, I'm a free agent.

No Rules is earlier and smoother, Alpha is very long and strong for a big hooking asym solid.  As such, the No Rules can be a bit flat on occasion while the Alpha can be a bit jumpy on occasion.  Hard for me to say which is better objectively . . but I like the No Rules better.  Or let me say this, No Rules is probably better for higher rev rates, Alpha is better for low rev rates, and I'd put the split at about 350-400 rpm.  Under that, go Alpha, over that, go No Rules, and if you're in that range, pick which shape you like the best.  I have videos for both below:

I was just about to write what you what; exactly how you described it if I had to go with these 2 in order,  I would go No Rules,  followed by the Alpha Cruz.
