any need for a No Rules Pearl and a Code Red?
« on: July 25, 2017, 03:34:34 PM »
I just switched from 15  back to 16 lbs.  Arsenal in pretty good shape except for a hybrid. Currently have the  No Rules   Dare Devil Trick   No Rules Pearl    IQ  Tour (15 lbs)   Desert Ops and a Tropical Storm. Not sure if having the N R P and the Code Red is an overlap. Both balls look pretty similar when comparing the ratings in Bowling This Month. I loved my Fusion which is the same coverstock R2S Hybrid. The Hyroad also uses the same coverstock as well. I guess I am looking for opinions from anybody who has the Code Red and the No Rules Pearl. Too much overlap or is there enough of a difference to own both balls. Probably would take out my IQ Tour out of my rotation and save it for tournaments. IQ is my last ball left still at 15 lbs. My ball speed is 16 mph and my PAP is 4 1/4 over and 1 1/2 up. Low rev player. Old school down and in is my A game.   Thanks everybody.

Very different balls for me, not really even in the same universe.  No Rules Pearl is early and smooth and super rolly, Code Red is longer and stronger and less ball overall, I carry both around myself.

Thanks Luke    Love your videos.  Probably slide the Code Red below my No Rules Pearl but above my Iq Tour. I agree on the NRP about it being very rolly. Picks up pretty early for a polished pearl. Kind of surprised me a bit. Now that I have NRP figured out the ball is really starting to grow on me. For me ball is better later in blocks. I'll keep my No Rules and Daredevil as my heavy balls  the NRP ,Code Red and IQ Tour for med and the Desert Ops and Tropical Storm for dry and or spares. Probably take out the IQ Tour for league/house shots and just save it for the tough stuff.
