What I got from the Shift was good length, predictable mid lane read and continuation through the pins. Shift was very versatile for me, felt I could play on anything with it, with right surface. The closest thing I've thrown to the Shift is the Lane Masters Black Pearl Blue Ocean. Closest Storm ball I've thrown was the Marvel Pearl though it did not have the back end continuation of the either ball, big rg difference.

I think the Shift was the last great Storm pearl particle.  Closest roll to that was the Second Dimension and Prodigy - pearl balls with E.T.M a few years later.  There is nothing left that has that roll in my opinion.

Closest i have seen to the type of roll would be the 900 Global Dream.  This is just a pearl though with no particle like the original shift

I wish I could help you abrown.  I loved my Shift as well.  I used it 60-70% of the time.  The ball I've found closest w/Storm in pearl form is the Reign.  The Shift could handle a bit more oil but still comparable.

Just wondering aloud, if the Hy-Road or Reign On could be a similar reaction/roll as the Shift?  With an edge given to the Reign On with a similar RG as Shift & bringing it to similar finishes...

I have to second the suggestion of the 900 Global Dream. This is definitely close reaction wise and is poured out of Utah.

I would agree with the Dream
League: Pitch Purple, Destiny Magenta
Testing: MVP
Interests: Black Widow, Proof Solid, Idol Pearl

The Dream looks very similar to the ball motion of the shift.

Well, then... that settles it.  Sounds like it's a Dream that will look like a Shift.  What are they going for...?   ??? :D
