IQ Tour vs IQ Tour Fusion....Layouts
« on: August 04, 2015, 06:38:23 PM »
From what I have read the IQ Tour is earlier and a little less on the Backend when compared to the IQ Tour Fusion, plus it can handle a little more oil than the Fusion.

If I like my Fusion, would it makes sense to drill the Tour up the same way for when I see a little more oil or need something not as sharp off the Backend?

Or drill the IQ Tour different from the Fusion?

Right now the Fusion is 45 x 4 x 45

Thoughts please

I have both balls drilled very similar. The IQ Fusion has an earlier midlane roll and is more angular than the Tour. The Fusion is better for the deeper shot and the Tour which has more push and smoother in the back better suited for the track shot. Love both balls.

I had both balls drilled with the same layout and same surface. The original Tour was much smoother and more predictable on the back end. I found that it was amazing on a down-and-in shot. My Fusion covered more boards and was better for playing deeper lines, though I wouldn't consider it a coast-to-coast ball by any means.
I definitely think the original Tour would be good for when you don't need as much recovery.
