reign of power or sync?
« on: July 07, 2014, 11:24:52 AM »
I was wondering which would be good or better for a two hander. Im only choosing between these two because the pro shop has them on sale and i wanted a stronger ball. any help is appreciated! :)

What are you currently using?
The sync is stronger than the ROP. I personally like the core better in the sync than the ROP.
Only concern would be that the sync with factory surface may be too strong for the two handed style and could burn up on you. Many others I bowl with did have this issue on THS but have since changed surface to compensate.

Im currently using a roto grip wrecker. and if the sync would burn up would it be possible to polish it so it can retainore energy?

Yes - polish it or adjust however you feel if does burns up. from what I have experienced, the sync takes to surface adjustments very well.
I have adjusted my sync to be able to play it on more patterns other than 'soup'. I think the sync that is polished is a very playable piece that gives me decent recovery on THS. I have seen many others (higher rev players) polish the sync with great success as well. I play around with surface on most things until I get my desired results.
Either ball you mentioned will be different than the wrecker you throw now. Both are considerably smoother and the sync is a stronger piece than the ROP.

Sync, it's underated.  Proven cover....The ROP's cover is no longer around.   That's enough of a reason for me.
In the bag [Infinite Physix, Volatility Torque, Night Road, Phaze III, Burner Solid, Hustle AU]
*Now Testing* IQ Ruby, Renevant, another IQ Tour solid
Coming soon...???
