I like the idea of this ball.  Soccer is the most played sport by younger kids and maybe (hopefully) this ball will bring more soccer players out to bowling.  About the ball, well, it goes straight, but  everyone already knows that.

Thanks to Bill Supper from Storm for his support. This is one of the fun series of balls to come out this year. Ebonite has been targeting the recreation bowlers for the last couple of years with their Zebra's, Skull's and "Pin" and "Bud" Clear Balls. Now Storm is also adding to the mix with this Awesome Soccer Ball. Made out of hard plastic with a very well done soccer ball look. I drilled this ball for my Doubles Partner Roxanne George. It was one that she wanted when they came out. Not only am I impressed with the appearence, but the way it rolls and hits. For a plastic ball this ball hits hard. Very predictable for dry lanes or a good choice for the "Flat Earth" conditions out there. Great Job Storm for making a fine and "Fun" spare ball. You will definitely get a kick out of it!!! After whiffing a few single pins spares one night and costing myself a nice 750 series I decided to punch out a piece of plastic. Since I have gone with Storm equipment exclusively, they SoccerBall was the obvious choice.



I did drill the ball with 3/8 side and 1/4 finger weights in case I ran across some mighty toasty lanes.



I thought I would only use it on toast that is.



This ball really hooks for a piece of plastic. In fact I have come to adore this ball. When the track starts to dry out and the guys are moving into 4th and 5th arrows, I just firm up the wrist and play a nice 12 to 8 swing and smack the pocket.



An excellent dry lane ball by the premier ball manufacturer !

If you are looking for something different in a spare ball definitly check this ball out. It will drive you opponents crazy and you will be the envy of your league for having such a cool looking ball.

I received the Soccer ball as a birthday gift and I love it. I've bowled in several tournaments and have been asked I don't know how many times where I got that cool looking ball. People get a good laugh out of it. The gentleman who owns the bowling center where I bowl leauge at seen it and came unglued cause he thought it was a real soccer ball. He thought I was going to kick a soccer ball down his lanes. It sure gave everyone a good laugh. Kids really like it and surprisingly the adults really like it more. Storm did a real great job by creating this ball.

I aligned a patch with my PAP, it looks sooooooo cool going down the lane.

I won a pot game with this thing. I shot a 228 to win 30 bucks.

It does hook a little bit, but not very much, maybe 3 boards, but i hit the ball like crazy.

Overall a cool looking, nice rolling piece of equiptment from storm.

An absolute rock.  This thing does not move.  Without a doubt, the hardest bowling ball I have owned.  Harder than a White Dot.  Harder than a Blue Dot.  Hell, harder than a Black Diamond.

If you need a ball that goes dead straight, I highly recommend the Storm Sports series.  When they say 88-90 on a durometer, they are dead on.

I've had the ball for a few months now. It is a great spare ball. The way it looks while it spins puts the opposing team in a trance. They've told me they can't watch it because it gives them a headache!!

My driller said it had nice top weight and it would work good on dry. I got the chance when I bowled with it on DRY synthetics and shot a nice 236 with it. He was right, it carried very well.

This is more then a spare ball!!! My friend uses this ball when his Trauma ER and his Ultra Hot is not carryng.

This ball has about 15-20 boards of hook on medium to oily lanes!!!!!! He normally throws
the balls with no hand and lets them take their course whichw orks good. 13 yrs old 183 avg.
But this ball carries so well he puts a lil hand into it and it is off and hooking. Not  an early hookers neither.,

Some say it goes dead straight others say it hooks... I am starting to think I might try this ball for dry lanes. One guy told me in another post he shot a 764 with this thing! Found a website with a short video of it smashing the pocket with what looks like about 8 or more boards of hook! Check it out:

Love this thing! Yes it will hook about 8-10 boards if you throw it slow enough and have a high rev rate but if you're using it as a true spare ball then it is perfect! It finds the pins and slides right on through them,better then all the other sports balls in my opinion.

Ive used many spare balls and this one doesnt tail off at the end like the others.  Theres good and bad about that, if you miss right you wont get the recovery, and you'll throw it in the ditch... But if you miss left it wont tail off and miss the ten pin completely.  The ball if used for a strike ball seems to hit harder than say a white dot... i recommend this ball to anyone that wants to improve there spare shooting.

IT'S BAAAAAACCCCKKKK!!!!! The best looking spare ball is back, and it does exactaly what I want a spare ball to do, not skid too much, but not grab too much.
