soniq vs phaze
« on: June 22, 2018, 07:55:20 PM »
i have a soniq right now with a skid/snap layout (sorry don't know the numbers) and was thinking of getting a phaze and putting a layout on it for a smoother reaction. saw that these balls were kinda close on BTM comparison chart with the main difference being the back end and length and was wondering is it worth getting a phaze if i already have a soniq.
here is the layout on the soniq
can i AXE you a question

What’s your axis? That layout and skid/flip aren’t really in the same zip code.

Agreed. That is something usually on the smoother side of the spectrum. But if you had a Son!Q drilled to be skid/flip, a Phaze with some surface and possibly a layout change would be a different shape altogether. Don't know if it would be my preferred complimentary piece, but it is an option.

i will try to get a video later since i don't have my exact numbers (if i had to guess i would say between 60 and 70 degrees). also the only other pearl i have (other than a very weak match pearl that is probably too heavy) is a code black drilled very strong. when i bowl today i will probably bring soniq, iq tour solid, code black, and sure lock.
