Question about Iq Tour Fusion
« on: January 31, 2014, 09:38:41 AM »
Question about the fusion. What's the oob surface. I tried using on fresh house shot during league last night and couldn't till midway thru third game. Ball skidded and squirted. What would your recommendations please. Slower speed 14.5 to 15 and average revs

I think the zero is a lot weaker than the cell. I believe original nano is stronger.  HyperCell is strongest ball ever had and I have had them all.

Sorry I was away while this conversation developed.

I'd agree with the others. Although your ba speed is not high, your rev rate must be lowish and/or tilt high. The ZG and the HC are more serious oilers, as both are strong DULL solid covers on stronger cores, with the HC having a greater PSA strength than the ZG.  The Fusion is a polished hybrid with a low RG but also a low differential. Being polished it will be a better ball for you when the heads dry up and you can't move deeper into the oil.

I'd recommend not fighting it, if it doesnt look good til the third game, and the other balls you have do look good, dont throw it til the third game.

My pro shop guy threw a zero gravity last night in our league. Was pretty wet last night. I was throwing Disturbed the asylum wasnt turning the corner. I have to say the ZG looked real good. He had a but more room than I did with Disturbed. It was impressive

I saw one last night in action. After 2 frames of watching I knew I would be purchasing 2 of them.

Love mine.  Just need to get used to throwing 15 vs 16.

I feel like this ball is getting more play than most do 3 weeks before WWRD.

Your average "meat and potatoes" guy can throw it and it will give him that downlane motion but the traction of a solid all while not taking a huge  boo-boo at the arrows.

Does anyone have any thoughts on how the ZG might compare to the hyper cell?

Just my thought. I have Disturbed and Hyper Cell. The ZG looks like it will fit inbetween them being weaker than HyperCell and just a very small amount stronger than disturbed. But a bit cleaner upfront than both. Looks like a more versatile motion. Has more back end movement that both hyper cell and disturbed but very controllable look. I will be getting in as soon as I can and will compare all three. My hyper cell is drilled too string for the ths I see. I did have a flood Friday but left hyper cell at home and threw disturbed very effectively. But the ZG my pro shop guy was throwing looked better
