Thinking about switching to Storm
« on: August 23, 2017, 02:41:39 PM »
If I were to switch to Storm, what balls would be good replacements for an Ebonite Warrior Elite, Mission Unknown (black), Game Breaker 2 Phenom Pearl and a Hammer
Viral Hybrid?

Thanks for the help.

I would add a IQ Tour somewhere on your list. Best ball in my opinion to start your arsenal with.

I honestly think the Code Black is closer to the black Unknown than the Code Red.

Code Black isn't as quick off friction as the black Unknown is, I think the Red is closer as far as shape goes.

I would also not add an IQ Tour, don't want him leaving the brand before he even gets to know it.   ;D :P ;)

I honestly think the Code Black is closer to the black Unknown than the Code Red.

Surprised to hear you say that about the IQ Tour. Such a great ball to see what the pattern is doing. I can always adjust based on what I see from my IQ Tour. On the sport patterns ball is money for me.

I agree. I have had both, drilled nearly identical, and they are pretty similar. I don't have a Code Red though. Don't really see the need for one when I also have the Sure Lock, NRP, Trick and Daredevil. Don't even need all those, especially for league. The differences do help on some sport shots.

Yeah it's a great ball if you want to do anything other than score.

Using the IQ Tour this past weekend on White #2, I won $ in 3 of 4 pot games, won high game, and won the eliminator.  As long as the $ keep coming in, I will continue to use it to SCORE on tougher-than-THS conditions.

I assume you mean in a regular THS shot sir, then you would be correct, the tough shot is a DIFFERENT BEAST where it shines.

Score is all relative. I think Luke was saying that you're not going to shoot lights out when the scoring pace is high, but the tougher they are, the better that ball is.
