Where does OPTIMUS fit in my arsenal of balls?

I am picking up the Optimus tomorrow to go with my IQ TOUR SOLID,  IQ TOUR PEARL, FUSION, HYROAD PEARL. I like to start with the IQ SOLID and go up or down from there. If IQ SOLID starts hitting a little weak I usually ball up to my Fusion. If Solid is a bit too much I ball down to the Gold IQ and then if need be down to the HYROAD PEARL. Not sure where the OPTIMUS will fit in with these balls. Some people say it hooks more then the Fusion and I have heard others say it is less then Fusion. I bowl on a synthetic THS most of the time. I still do a few tournaments later in the year. All balls are drilled similar although I was thinking about going pin down on OPTIMUS. Could the OPTIMUS be my new benchmark ball? I heard it is a THS killer. Maybe fit the OPTIMUS below IQ SOLID and above IQ PEARL. Looking for advice from someone who has a similar ball selection to choose from. Thanks!!

Marvel Pearl is significantly better. The shop where I get my stuff said try the Optimus at 2000, I did, same result, a ball that rolls like absolute monkey bowel. So, I am able to trade the Optimus in for a new Marvel Pearl. I could be the exception, but these balls are NOTHING alike. Honestly, the Optimus is what made me look at Roto Grip and Motiv, the Optimus to me rolls that badly.

The only ones that I've seen look good at the ones that are set to transition hard off the spot. Otherwise it looks like butt.

Funny how much trouble a company has in re producing the reaction of a truly good ball.  Storm had similar problem after the original virtual gravity.  Ebonite Mission was one of the best balls ever, but the rest of the balls in the Mission series were horrible.

The problem is partly that they are marketing to a large group of people who erroneously think the stronger the better.  The true power players don't need this much ball, and the rest of us realize that a good core shell matchup trumps unlimited hook potential.  Obviously the much larger group of hook in the box fans represent a better market.

Yes Bob, the Mission was awesome. Wish I could find in NIB 14lb. Sorry, didn't mean to take the thread over briefly
