- Description: Track has designed the all new 503C is to be an improved version of the original 505C. What can you expect from the new 5 Series C ball? It has more length and an even more controllable ball motion at the breakpoint. From tournament bowlers to the average league player, this ball will undoubtedly be the first ball out of the bag. This beautiful Purple/ Blue/White Pearl ball in its out of the box 4000 sanded and Factory Finish polished state is designed for medium to dry lanes. Are looking to use it in a larger volume of oil? No problem, just adjust the surface to a 2000 scuffed surface. You will then gain five more boards of hook for the average player; some may see even more. You will notice with the new Packman core the RG and differential have been raised by a significant amount. This will allow the ball to get further down the lane, but have more strength off the back of the pattern for better entry angle and pin carry. The all-new Gen 4C pearl coverstock is also stronger than the Gen 3 used on the 505C. The surface has not been adjusted between the two balls. What we have created is a ball that utilizes a stronger core and cover combination, but keeping the ultimate amount of control for higher scoring on the most challenging lane conditions. Each new ball from Track will include a microfiber cleaning pouch with instructions on its use. We feel this is a great addition in order to help our customers maintain their performance products.

So I drilled my first 503C pretty standard pin up 4inches from my PAP and the MB just right of the thumb as I like to start with when drilling a ball. This drilling is a solid benchmark drill pattern for me to start with. First of all let me say this ball is so clean through the front of the lane and for a C ball makes a strong but controlled reaction down lane. I was bowling on a THS to start and this ball gave me a ton of free hook to the right! After 5 or 6 games I moved down to the end of the house where they had the Viper shot out. As I thought this pattern had more oil in the track and not as much free hook. I threw the ball for about six frames and decided to alter the surface. I took the cover down to 1000 and then hit it with factory polish. This cover is so versatile, making that change gave me another 5 to 7 boards of hook. I was able to play the same part of the lane as I was playing on the THS and with the added oil I had tug and free hook once again! This ball rolls unreal, the new core cover combo I feel is going to be one of the most versatile balls I have ever used. I will be drilling another one with a pin down type layout and maybe MB 3in right of my thumb for an even more controlled roll. I can't wait to try another drill pattern on the ball and see just how great it will be as well.

they should of named it the 503b cause this ball is a beast

so i finaly punched up my first 503c and went stright to league with it to sub. last time i subed there i shot 770 with a 300 with my 718a so they had high expectations of me. and i told them not to expect to much with me cause i was throwing a new ball with no pratice with it. once pratice ended i thought i had a decent line then i went to work. stuff a nine in the first then go next 6 stone a ten sheet for 269. next game a make a small move and BOOM i got the world 300. last game wasnt as great shot 210 with a stone 7-10 and a 7-9 wasnt super happy about that but who care the ball rolled great.

i thorw that ball about 17mps about 375- 400 rpms
axis over 4-7/16 up 1/8
drilling 25* 4.5" 65*

0 mb (had x-hole to make leagal)

i wanted this ball smooth threw the heads read the mids and not overreact off the dry. this layout with this ball did everything i wanted and more. it allowed me to play strighter to begine with and then chase the oil inside and it never quit not a once this ball is a deff winner. this ball will fit anyone style and if you dont have at least one in your bag you are already at a disadvantage so dont get left behind and get it as soon as you can.

Likes: This ball has a nice controlled ball reaction.
It’s smooth, but not weak.  The polished shinier finish allows this
ball to get some length with a decent backend.  It has a very
predictable motion which is still capable of recovering with slight
misses.  With the factory finish, most will be able to use it on medium
and medium light shots.  It might be a little skiddish on medium-heavy
shots.  For those with less hand, you will want to knock the polish off
even on medium conditions.  It’s a ball that can be first out of the bag
and will let you know what the condition is like.  It will also get
lots of play as it covers the most typical THS these days, medium to
medium-light.  Really nice compliment to the “A” balls Track has.

This is a very solid benchmark offering from Track.  They are
spot on with the naming convention on this one and it will be one of the
more versatile balls they offer.  If you also compete on flatter
patterns, you will like this offering.  It’s one of those balls where if
you are a Track fan and only could have one, this would be the one I’d
recommend.

I love the way this ball gets thru the front part of the lane picks up the mid lane and just jumps of the break point. The angle you can create playing deep inside with this ball is just nuts. The first time I threw it I was playing just inside 4th arrow and letting the ball feed to the break point and just was amazed at how it hit the pocket from in there I didn’t expect that. Clearly track has a big time winner on their hands with this anyone who liked the any of the 500 series will just love this ball should be a great benchmark ball for most players.

Likes: The 503c gets through the heads with ease and is very smooth through the mids. Picked up the mids but never reacted t the dry spot before end of pattern. At break point ball is smmoth off spot but a lot stronger than I expected. Hit heavy and carried moved a little got deep still recovered and carried wnet further left and sent out hit light and well still carried. I finally got to far left for it to recover enough to carry light hit but I had 8 boards with my feet and 4 with eyes and had recovery all day. Will be a great bench mark ball for anyone. 503c was 4 to 5 stronger than 505c with the same layout.

Dislikes: None

Likes: I drilled my 503C with the pin below the ringer finger and the mass Bias 2 inches from the center line which is basiclly 70 x 5 x 45 and the xhole is in the thumb quadrant. My favorite Track Ball was the 505C and I could not wait to get my hands on this ball and the 503C did not let me down. It is still clean through the front but it is stronger and more readable than the 505C ever was. I was able to open up the lane and still chase the pattern left even with my rev rate, low 300's! The 503C is a must for anyone's bag.

Dislikes: With larger volume of conditioner or longer patterns the ball will have a tendency to get too far down the lane. Altering the surface will help but maybe a stronger ball like the 919C or 715T would be a better option.

Likes: This ball is so clean through the front it's almost silly, it makes a smooth read off the spot and a smooth roll towards the pocket.  This ball has the potential to be the benchmark ball for league bowling.  After 6 games on a THS I've averaged  256.  Not only does this ball perform on the lanes it looks good going down the lanes and sitting on the rack.  It's been the most noticed Track ball I have had in recent memory.  People see it going down the lane and they just have to ask what it is.  It's a must have in a pro shop as something to catch the bowler's eye.  From a price/performance perspective you'd be hard pressed to find a ball that will give you what the Track 503C will.

Dislikes: High speed/High rev players may not be able to get super deep with this ball, the smoother roll does not allow for super high angles.  I've found a 505A with a similar layout was a perfect combination when having to get deep inside.

Likes:I drilled the 503C with pin over fingers and no x-hole with out of box srface. The numbers are 70x5x40 and my axis point is 5 5/8 over and 3/4 up with a rev rate around 315. My roll is more end over end so my axis tilt is around 0 to about 15... I am not perfect sometimes. The ball gave me great length and recovery even when experiencing some carry down. The 503C is stronger and has more teeth than the 505C. For me the 503C allows me to open up the lane and not have to be so perfect to get the ball to the pocket and carry! Normally on this pattern I have issues with carry down and with the 503C I had none. It helped me create an area to throw into and once I had a little carrydown in the middle I had unlimited room left and Right! The 503C made this pattern play like a house pattern! The sequel may be better than the orginal!

Dislikes: The drilling creates some over/under on the fresh (game 1) and also the 503C being stronger has a tendency to pull at the break point. Maybe with a slight surface change could eliminate this issue!

Stronger than expected and very smooth.

Drilled with pin 5.25" from axis, under the middle finger. The ball flares more than my 505C drilled the same way which explains why it hooks more than my 505C.

Compared to my 607A the ball starts a little earlier but with the smoother breakpoint shape the total hook is very close. I did not have to move my feet when changing between these two balls.

Overall I like this ball - it's the first ball out of my bag.

I just want to start by saying....WOW. This ball is the perfect balance of hook power and control. I noticed a tremendous amount of grip in the mid lane, followed by a fantastic read in the back end that was very predictable. This really allowed me to keep control of the pocket, which is the main thing on tougher fresh conditions like that one. Balls like this are what keep your average bowlers, like me, in the cut. If you don't have one of these in your bag, you are already at a disadvantage.

Likes: I Haven't posted in awhile, but i cannot let this get by me. The 503c is a B E A S T! I drilled mines 12 o'clock everything in the center and one word describes it best Ridiculous! This ball is so clean threw the fronts its insane, but the continuous motion down lane is exactly what you want in a ball. Let me tell you this ball leaves nothing behind when it comes to hitting power. I like the but occasionally it seemed a lil earlier than what i was looking for, but the new 503c is on the money. This is a ball i don't think you can only have one of its that good. I believe its a great fit for your average league bowlers being thats its so clean threw the fronts and the continuous motion doesn't allow it to be too jerky down lane, and for the tournament bowlers great benchmark ball/ late block ball. I hope this ball is around for a long time as it should be its that good go get yours if you haven't already.

Likes:This is the 3rd 503C that I have drilled for myself and that should tell you something. The layout is pin under the middle finger and the mass bias is shifted 2 inches from the center line. The numbers are roughly 45x6x70 and the X hole is at 7 inches at a 45 degree from center of span. I threw the 503C on a fresh THS and the ball gave me room to the right and the transfer of energy at the break point was fantastic. The ball worked extremely well going up the lane and by game 2 I had room right and left. The ball is stronger in the midlane than my 505C drilled the exact same way.

Dislikes: The drilling did not allow me to go around the condition but I guarentee you that when they burnout a touch the ball would be perfect!
