Another great ball from Track. Versatile, Powerful and if that's not enough it's nice looking. I have been able to use the ball on conditions where the only head oil is inside of 20 board (4th arrow). It has the length to get to the break point and the drive to get to the pocket from way outside. I don't generate a lot of revs but playing inside of twenty with a little head oil and dry to the right of the fourth arrow is easy to play with this ball. It floats in to the dry and builds energy for the backend drive to the pocket.

I would rate this ball an 8.5 out of 10 based on the versatility and the energy it saves for backend reaction. The only problem could be if you have carry-down but that is where the new Track Spell should come in.

Let's Start out by saying that this ball is another
one of thoses (Filing Cabinet) ball designs from Track!

The Weight block design comes from the "AMF Nighthawk Revenge"
family, and the cover stock comes from the Columbia SuperFlex
formula. Now we have the Hextreme, The Spell, Enfuego, all sharing
the same weight block design? Makes you wonder what the ball
companies are attempting to accomplish?

Anyhow, Our test of this ball found it to be "Nothing Special"
Our Label Leverage ball 4X4 pattern, provided for a smooth and
tame ball reaction on Medium to Light oiled lanes.

The Hitting Power??? Well we just did not see much of that!!!
Very disappointing for a Track Ball! The ball got to the pocket Ok,
but was lacking the punch of previous Track Products.

Now keep in mind, you will only get out of a ball what your release strength
will give to it! And those of you who are "Crankers" may find you
get a fraction more hitting power! But overall, we were disappointed!

We put three of theses balls on the lanes in the hands of our Tournament
Staff bowlers and everyone of them have come back and have already traded
their HexTremes in for something else!!!!

We will advise Our customers and bowlers in general
to pass on this one! There are many other better choices for
the same price point!

I don't people have problem with this ball. I brought it national
and brought it back to my league. I shot 695 with this ball, it
should have been a med 700 if I didn't mess it up. So in my opionion
track has put anothe awesome ball. But one this ball go for me on medium
oil not heavy or fresh oil. This ball is still 8.5 out 10

i drilled this ball with the pin above my middle finger. lets get to the point it goes long too long. this ball hits like a marshmellow even on the driest of conditions. it has such a steep breakpoint angle it leaves a 10 pin on almost every shot even when i adjust. i just really dont like this ball at all. just remember just because its not right for me doesnt mean its not right for you.

I like the ball on heavy oil condition. it skids smoothly through the heads and hook strongly at backend. I play 2nd arrow down and in. Mine is 15lb and dont know about the drilling except it fils heavy oil condition. I tried it on dry lane and, forget it, it just hooks too much. I have another Track ball Heat 2 which is not so good on heavy oil.

I dont know what to say about this ball.....for a particle ball i just cant believe the amount of backend it gives. Maybe it is the drilling i have on it, but the ball is incredible. I honestly have been able to move around, and find a line....it adjusts great to hand positions, and I would have to say that bowling a 300 in practice the 2nd day i had it was a good sign. It is now one of my favorite bowling balls, I can just play pretty much where i want with it. It's control when I come up behind it (cutting down the revs) has made it a great weapon on sport shots where I have had to be outside. This ball is excellent.

This ball is probably one of the smoothest I've ever thrown.
It is very good for light-medium oil or for "ripping" back-ends.
Know others with alot of hand that just love this ball for more oily conditions also. I am currently using this ball for when the heads have really broken down.

Got this ball recently from LuckyLefty and it is a keeper. Drilled label, ball has a smooth and continuous arc into and through the pocket. Threw this ball in practice last week before league (did not get a good reaction) so pulled it out last night while practicing afterwards. First of all there was a ton of carrydown and the heads were fried so I had to almst play straight up 5 with speed to get to the pocket. If I moved in a few boards and played a little swing, ball left a washout. But that was the lane, not the ball. When I threw it last week before league, the shot was wide open and still fresh, I was throwing about 12-5 and the ball came up high 3 balls in a row. Didnt wanna get in too much more and hook it, for in that house carry suffers bad from inside, so I switched that night and shot 300. Ball is more aggresive than my Pioneer so it will compliment that plus my Colossus, Slam, and Pearl Blade. Overall, the ball feels good on my hand, can get plenty of speed/revs on it and when it does hit the pocket it smashes the pins and carries excellent. Overall, I give it a 8.5/10 for now, but once I really get a chance to throw it on fresh for more than practice, I will post again, and give more info. Thank you again LuckyLefty!!!

Well for starters, I have jumped from being a Ebonite to a Track bowler so my judgement may be skewed. This ball was a replacement for a ball that a house, accidentally distroyed. I had the choice of balls, in exchange for my V2. .

I can play this ball up and in (2nd arrow ), or out and in or any place I like it(3rd -5th arrow). It gives me complete controll without over throwing the ball. I don't throw alot of turn so when I haven't been able to controll anything I wasn't sure where to turn. This ball by far hits harder and controlls better on these dry lanes then the low flare stinger. And is able to be adjusted easiely with minimal work.

Give this a try to get controll back into your game, but dont think about it for a swing shot on oil, you better have alot of hand for that. Not bad for $100 ball

For most starters,this is a great choice I admit.I have 2 Hextreme in my back up bags for the lane's oil sudden dried out or over took.This ball doesn't like other aggressive balls can show amazing curve on oilly lanes.But it makes me has much more control tolerance when throw harder or lighter on mid lanes.By the way,if you are looking for one ball available reacted for inside-out or outside -in.Hextreme should be the one that you chasing all the time...

I have this baby drilled with the pin above the fingers cg kicked out and a small weight hole. The ball is the most dependable ball I have ever owned. Smooth as silk. Great for any condition other than heavy oil. All high rev players need one of these in their bag.

I have had this ball for a couple of years now and I love it. I am a cranker with high ball speeds and this ball has an explosive backend when the lanes are medium to medium light. Overall this is a great ball and I would give it a 8/10

I drilled my hextreme twice. the first time i put the pin above the ring. With this drill, i only threw it on dry lanes, but still did a good job of knocking all 10 down.

The second time i drilled it, i drilled it up "full roller", which inverts the core and basically puts the thumb where the fingers should be, and the fingers where the thumb should be. I do have to say that after hitting every hole in the ball, it took off pretty good.
