COMMENTS

Likes: This ball for something with surface and a pin down drilling doesn't start early. The ball did get through the fronts very clean. It also had a good heavy mid lane roll but it didn't sacrifice the back end. Now for me (PIN under the ring finger) this ball rolls in the mids and archs to the pocket after that. From what I saw and how it rolled in league (775 290-237-248) that this ball will work great in the house I bowled in last night.   

Dislikes: Now for the light to med oil shots I can see this ball burning up in the mids and or getting a nose bleed from getting too deep. I don't see this as a dislike as this ball isn't meant for Light to Medium THS shots.

LANE CONDITION

Length: House pattern and 2009 EBT 46ft pattern

Lx10 drilled 60 x 4 ¼ x 20 pap used 3 over and 5/8 up (I am right handed)
Used the Lx10 on both a house shot and EBT pattern, on the house shot I left the Lx10 at box surface and it was a little earlier then I thought it would be no problem I moved left and I was not let down by the recovery and the finish of the Lx10.  This could just be me but I think the Lx10 just flat out hits hard.  This is a ball I can start with to find out if I want to up or down with the amount of reaction I need.

2009 EBT 46ft pattern, this was a lot of fun I had a person come up to me and ask if I was making the ball set up and stay in the area I was playing and how did I know it would not over hook.  That let me know it’s a reaction that not only I can see but someone looking on was able to notice the read from the ball and continuous motion.  I have not changed the surface of the Lx10 yet I will play around with polish and surface at some point.

Drilled this ball as my pin down dull for the first ball out of the bag on fresh conditions.  I have not been disappointed with this ball, great reaction and carry!  Another great ball from Track!

Very Versatile Ball!

The Track LX10 is one of my favorite balls. The coverstock is very strong – but the out of box 3000 grit keeps the ball from grabbing too early on the front end. The cover strength seems to take charge in the mid-lane, where it is needed the most. The pin-up ball makes a very quick, defined move towards the pocket while the pin-down version provides a slower flip and a more continuous roll through the back end. The pin-up has been fantastic on league and shorter sport shots…while I prefer a little more surface on the pin-down and use it on longer sport patterns.

Either way, you can see that I believe the Track LX10 can be very versatile…it just depends on what you’re looking for and how you want to drill it up. Don’t hesitate getting this ball for your arsenal.
