Mako

Track board is pretty quite about the Mako launching. Anyone looking to add this piece or is it overshadowed by other heavy oil EBI options?
Current Rotation:
PhysiX
Code X
Code Black
Axiom Pearl
Phaze III
Trend
IQ Tour

I finally watched the show and I don't think the Mako looked bad, I think it showed the difference between the Mako and Jackal Ghost.

Mako definitely looked more angular than the Ghost and it forced Dom and Mitch into a spot of over/under because of the strength of the cover. T

The Ghost, Chronic Paranoia, Alpha Crux, and IQ Nano were all smoother than the Mako. Quintero switched to a Code Black that was angular but the weaker cover had a much better look than the Mako

Just like Lebowski says, that's your opinion, man. They're pros.... Any ball should work well, but the mako probably is good...But how do u account for dom not really dominating anymore.

I think belmonte out of the spotlight has everything to do the newer x hole rules....

Seriously?

Dom Barrett's 4th in total PBA earnings for 2016 behind Tackett, Simonsen, and Svensson! Just because you didn't see him on every WSOB telecast does not mean he's been terrible.  Bowling is more than televised events.  Dom has done just fine with Track equipment...

Wasn't Belmo still the PoTY the first year of the no extra hole?

Yeah I don't look up the stats...I was totally assuming. My bad.

I just don't see him "winning" like he was. U knowing all the details know the actual facts. The general public doesn't, cuz he's not winning on TV. That's what I get for assuming tho haha

I drilled my Mako with a the pin 5.5" from my PAP above my ring finger. Mass bias is located 1" to the right of my thumb. My ball speed is around 16mph and med to high revs.

I rolled this beast on my house condition and I was not disappointed. With this layout I was able to use this ball for the first 2 games of league with great success.  This ball is strong and smooth. I left the factory surface and started out around 17 board at the arrows. The shape was predictable and I still had power at the pocket without sacrificing striking power.

Game 3 proved to be to dry with the other players soaking up the oil as well.

If you are looking for a strong,  solid, asymetrical ball for heavier patterns, look no further. The Mako will take no prisoners and still gives you the control you want, without sacrificing the power you need.

It's time to jump in the deep end.....and hunt like a Mako.
