Mx16 Review
« on: September 30, 2014, 09:02:57 PM »
OK Guys, the track Mx16 is the new high performance ball in our line.. and let me just say that it lives up to the level.. this ball hooks, a lot. it has the same multi-density "I" core featured in the Lx16 and again, it does not disappoint. this core being the strongest core in our line, it flares a lot, but it is even more responsive to different layouts (pin up or down) The difference between the Lx16 and the Mx16 are the coverstocks. The Mx16 features the new, MR-8 Hybrid cover with a different style finish out of the box.. it comes out of the box at 500/3000. the reason behind this is so that the cover still has some "teeth" even being at such a high surface out of the box.. now what I see out of this ball on the lane is something that really compliments my Lx16 very well.. I will be using this ball on longer patterns, when my Lx16 starts to hook just a little too EARLY on the lane, not necessarily too much.. Having this ball in my bag will allow me to open up the lane a little more on a longer pattern. I am able to move in with this ball and I still see a ton of back end reaction which definitely makes me happy. I know that I find that when I try to move in with a stronger earlier rolling ball, that i lose backend reaction and therefore, my carry will suffer, forcing me into something weaker and back right onto the lane.. even though it is said that this is for "medium rev players" it will fit into anyones bag realistically. I am absolutely loving what I am seeing out of this ball and can't wait to get it on the lanes during some tournaments soon.
