Well I bowled Team on Thursday and Doubles and Singles on Friday. WOW what a lesson i got!
On the Fresh in team I was totally lost. Everything I had seemed to jump to hard and it was split city Game 1. Game 2 ,I started to get a better look for the first three frames and then, Bam gone! Now I either had a ball that was too early or too strong off the dry.
You definitely need to break the lanes down together as everyone has stated! I bowled with a bunch of guys that sprayed the ball all over and never really had a chance.....450 in team!
Doubles started well. 217, 211 to start, throwing my trusty old Nomad Solid at 4000, had a guy on the pair throwing a new Train all over the lane and by game three the shot was gone, back to starting too early or sliding past the break....135 game three for a whopping 563....
Singles I decided to go way left....stood 35, played 22 at arrows and 10 at break with a polished Veramax.....when I hit the spot it was great, miss a hair and I mean a hair and split city again.

A wonderful 1548 for the tourney......I was amazed at how tough it was and how much I missed. 21 splits in 9 games....lol
I did bowl the 40 frame game and enjoyed it! It was fun and I shot 1058 which was real good including what would have been a 299 for the last 12 frames....
Overall, I am disappointed in my execution and definitely learned a few lessons. I will be in Reno next year!
