Taking lessons in Reno question

For those that have had lessons from Mike Jasnau, should I come with something in mind to work on or does he watch you bowl and then make suggestions?

Both.  Think of him as a doctor.  The more information you can supply, the faster he can zero in on your areas of improvement.

He'll notice and recommend things that will help you mechanically.  He will also help with lane play ideas and equipment surface changes, etc.  But if there is an area that you know you need improvement on by all means share it with him.

Thank you for the quick response.  I will try and think of something or might hit up some friends and get their opinions for something to work on.

While on the phone with the USBC rep confirming my dates for my VIP package, they stated that they upgraded my lesson from a regular lesson to a VIP lesson.  Anyone know what the difference is?  I didn't think to ask what the difference was when they said it.
