LANE CONDITION

Length:approx. 41'

Volume:unknown

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc):THS

COMMENTS

Likes:This ball rolls very good and heavy. Mine hits very well now.

Dislikes:None. I had to change the shell finish due to the ob burning up on my house shot. It always rolled good , but seemed to lose something at the pocket. I changed the surface to 1200 grit wet sand and applied a light coat of compound and it came alive at the pocket.

LANE CONDITION

Length: 38-41 FT

Volume: Unsure

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc): THS

COMMENTS

Likes: Handles oil, good read, strong reaction at the breakpoint with continuation through the pins.  Keeps the pins low when coming in at greater angle.  Can be played with the big hook or straight down and in.

Dislikes: Haven't seen a dislike yet!

Comments: I throw the ball at 2 different houses as I bowl league in one and practice every so often in the other.  The league house is known for being a tougher shot as there's bad carry and overall lanes just are conducive to high scores.  Ball rolls well there and have no complaints whatsoever in how it reads the lanes and reacts.  Even at this house carry is better than what I see a lot of people getting.

In practice house, it excels because I know those lanes much better and can swing the ball to create more angle or play it down and in.  Either way, ball rolls great and reacts great.

Overall, love this ball and really only need this and the Pearl to combat almost any lanes.

COMMENTS

Likes:  Wow really starting to fall in love with this ball.  An awesome 2 piece benchmark like ball that reads the lane as well as the Hy-Road (not quite as angular or as long) but can handle more oil at least with my style.  Just one of those balls that feels comfortable from the first time you pick it up and almost never surprises you.  Saves your bacon when you go high as well as carry is amazing.  First ball in long time I didn't immediately change the finish on.

Dislikes:  Got one of the last produced so availability will be limited.  Ball had two small perfectly circular swirls next to each other near pin that due to an optical illusion made me at first think the ball had been plugged.  Mildly annoying at time but don't notice it any more and it was on me.  Visionary makes great stuff but have to be patient generally when you place an order as can take two to three weeks to get a ball.  So worth it though.
