I love the idea. Guess we will have to wait and see if it works. In marketing you have to try to separate yourself from competitors in some way like Tracks numbering system or Storms fragrances. I hope it works for them. I will be suggesting the Jewel and the Wisdom to a few people I know based on the specs anyway.

Love the new line up. From the video, the shape of the Bank Roll reminds me of the Break S75! What does "Blend of Resins..." mean? Is this a hybird cover? Also, will the N,E,A,T pads be available for purchase anywhere? Core on the Jewel is very similar if not identical to that of the one in the Lunatic. Should be a solid line up for 2011!

According to the facebook page, there are more releases coming as well.  I would imagine something for the Profit Line and the Favorite/Longshot line.  Although the Nuts looks like a mid performance release.

Looks like the Bank Roll is a hybrid!

 

According to Facebook: We blended the Shred-It cover with the Eagle/Break cover to make the new Bank Roll S76 cover. Its stronger in oil overall and has a really fast response time as it exits the pattern.

 

Can't wait to see how this works! Hopefully the Favorite and Longshot stay, thinking maybe a hybrid cover would be cool!

I'm with you on this.  If the ball is designed for slower speeds, or the "rev-challenged" then just say so.  Why risk alienating your customers by stating the ball is for "seniors" or "women"?
 
Jewel might be a great ball for many male bowlers, but how many are going to want to use a ball that the company says was designed especially for women?
 
And really, isn't it just a pearl, and possibly stronger version (according to coverstock rating) of the Lunatic?

900 Global - Remember  these balls were designed with both women and seniors in mind, but does  NOT mean they are the only ones we recommend to use it.  They will  round out the line and certainly have a place in anyone's bag.  These  are just the first 2 balls we have come out and stated there was a  specific purpose behind the core numbers and cover that we used.  There  is no age or gender restriction required when selling....lol
