cant decide between...
« on: November 05, 2008, 01:34:39 AM »
Ok, so i am getting a new ball from global, not sure which to get though, i want the s75 or the bounty. I have a break s70 right now its drilled around 3 1/2 x 3 for my pap. the balls is just stupid good off the spot and just is so nice and rolly. I use it on the route 66 pattern in my pba league and its been great from around 4-6 board...the only other ball i can use out there is my cell. Im looking for a ball for when there is a little more oil and i just need that extra kick off the spot. my pap is 4 1/2 right and my speed is about 17-18 mph and i throw about 350-375 revs on the ball.

any suggestions would be great

thats wut i figured, the s75 looks like its going to be the ball, but the bounty looks so good as well...i wouldnt say i strap it on, i put that many revs on the ball with only using about 80% of my ability to do so...no need for anymore than that it just gets you in trouble

for me the S75 is a strong/almost angular motion off the spot in oob condition.  i also have another that is at 1000 abralon and that one is stronger in overall hook, but more of a very strong arc reaction.

S75 is probably a touch more angular, but I'm in love right now with my new Bounty. IMHO, the Bounty is almost as angular but more continuous and more versatile -- really, it's a more defined step up from the Break. What I mean by that is the Break and the Break S75 are not THAT different...maybe a few boards, a touch more angularity, etc...but the Bounty (if you're constructing an arsenal) will fit a role more clearly. As of right now, the Bounty has replaced the S75 in my bag for most events. I'm not saying the S75 doesn't have a place -- it does, no doubt -- but between the Break and the Bounty I can typically find a reaction.

S75 outhooks a NVD and Bite with same exact layouts, it creates angle when you are heavier volumes of oil.

The S75 for me is a beast I can't use it for long before it opens the lane to a point where I put it away and bring out the Break pearl. It always seems to make the corner.
