Will we ever see a S10 or S20 cover?
« on: April 20, 2009, 07:16:24 AM »
Just curious if anyone knows if Global has S10 or S20 in there plans anytime soon? I only throw 900 global and at least half my gear never sees any play. I bowl on light to dry at best and thats a fresh shot where I live! My black/red link sees the most use and is almost to strong. Would love to see a S10 or S20 somethime soon!

Bugs, sorry meant a 1" pin-Pap...

I have this drilling on about 5 balls, and they all roll great.  Varying strengths of balls, but the best IMO are higher RG/Low diff.

If you watch this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FncGaFBPAHY you will get an idea of the kind of reaction I get out of my neptune.  I threw this actual ball at the Kegal training centre on CATS and I am at about 500-510 RPM, and I can still play that line

WOW, just watched the video, that's quite impressive! Break-point at 1 board?!? I wish I have the skills to do that.... must keep practicing!

As of when I drilled dave300 some balls he had to be careful with his layouts.  He then took a year or so off from bowling.  He has high speed, high revs, and high track.  He bowls in a fricken dungeon of a bowling center.  Beat up wood, not much oil, they would probably play like not much oil, even if they did oil them.

dave, I like the 6" pin idea, you need the length, mass bias, down below your thumb and maybe a small hole on your PAP if needed to make legal.  Should be pretty long, fairly smooth.

Hey Victoria!!!!  Grats on your baby!!

Hey Mike! You got that "fricken dungeon" part right, haha!!! I drilled a Awakening with a 6x5 layout, no weight hole. I bowled league last night and it went pretty straight till what little oil was there started to burn up. Moved in and it worked pretty well. Still think I might try a 1" or 2" pin to pap on my link, just about done plugging it....

Started to drill myself an Orbit Extreme with a 1" pin today but ran out of time (had to drill a pile of Requiems ), so will get it finished tomorrow and give it a roll on Monday maybe!
