Drilled Up The Look
« on: September 14, 2012, 06:51:18 AM »
Finally managed to have enough time to get some holes in this one.  Went 70 X 4 X 40.  Hopefully will be able to roll this weekend...otherwise leagues start in 2 wks.

Finally got to throw this ball tonight.  I was throwing on a medium oil house shot, that had a few games on it from earlier in the day.

I was expecting that the ball would be way too much for this shot, especially with the strong soaker cover.  A few shots in, and I was surprised.  The ball got easier length than expected, and really turned over on the backend.  After a couple games, they started to really dry out.  I kept.moving in, ending around 23 at arrows out to around 8 or so...  Surprising length and strong backend.  The only time I really got into trouble was on shots slightly inside of target at the BP.  These would jump and take off...  But under these conditions, this would be expected.
I can't wait to throw on a fresh shot.  I expect to be able to square up a little and really expect a a strong backend.  Will post again once I have a few more games on the ball.

I drilled mine pin above the ring finger with mb kicked out and worked great on a fresh shot but is very over under on used lanes. I definatately need to adjust the surface. As it is now if I move in and swing it the ball tends to skid to far and when I move right and go more up the boards the ball really dives.

I drilled mine up.  Thank you Eric at 900 Global!  Unfortunately I have no condition I can throw it on at the moment.  I can only use it for league practice and about 5 frames into the first game.  I will try and post a picture of it soon.

Threw "The Look" for the first time during league tonight.  The ball was incredibly consistant throughout the entire night, especially during the dreaded transition (8Th frame of first game through 5Th frame of 2nd game).  I moved a total of 5 boards... (previous nights I have been moving 8 to 15) the entire time, the ball never seemed to check up early...  Length and strong backend.  Shots that I missed outside a little, didn't seem to over react.  Kept me out of trouble.  Ended up shooting my first 30 clean and a respectable 690 set.
