My pro shop has had one for a week now and I got a chance to toss a few frames with it. It's VERY close to the Break Out (it should be, it's the same ball with a different color scheme). If anything, it goes a tad longer and is a little sharper at the break point ( for me, anyways)..

Yes. it's I, the Inverted One..

I hate the color and would never own the ball cuz of it - but each to his own...ha!  :)

Worked with Paul Fleming yesterday on the Nationals pattern. I have two of these that I just drilled up. One is pin down with a 4 1/2" pin and the other 5 1/2" pin up. I still have the pin down at box finish, I had hit the pin up with a light coat of Black Magic. We tweaked my roll a little and had a great read with both swinging at around 10 out to 5. The pin down was a monster and could still use good speed and just be nice to it at the bottom and watch it blow the rack. If I hit the ball it would fly left in a hurry. Never thought I would see this hard a move on this pattern. Paul just bowled the Nats a couple weeks ago and felt the pattern was not that far off of what they saw playing this area of the lane. First impressions was wow. I roll a Break Out drilled identical to the pin down, but ended up with a little less side weight on the BO than the Eagle. I also have the Break Out polished and we hit it with a 2000 abralon by hand to clean up the reaction. My Break Out was a nice fit right between the stronger Eagle and the pin up. My bank with the same pin up drill and polished was longer and more skid flip with the current surface. It will end up going with a 4000 surface most likely to smooth it out just a touch. The Break core in the Eagle and Break Out makes these really smooth and with the S70 cover makes a really predictable reaction that I hope pays off.

Roll with 900 Global.

BTW, it rolls really good.  For a pin down ball it comes off the friction like no other pin down in my collection.  I compared it with my 715T and it is way stronger even OOB at 4k.  I used it on the 2011 USBC pattern and while I know the stadium doesn't play the same I think it would be a very good ball to use.

Just got the Eagle a couple of weeks ago. I've heard so many good things about the BreakOut and that the Eagle was the limited Edition but just another color. I decided to drill the Eagle pin down and use it for Nationals. That was my sole purpose. The measurements came out to a 5 x 4 with the pin under ring and MB 2.5 right of thumb. I first tried it on the 2011 National Pattern on AMF Synthetic Surface and i was truely impress. The ball is early rolling with an angular continuous arc. It's has a roll different from any other company. I plan to alter the surface to 2000 with a fresh abralon pad. The factory is kind of dull but smooth. I also drilled up a Break Out on Tuesday. I layed it out 5-1/4 x 4 with the pin over bridge and MB 2 inches right of thumb with a weight hole one inch down from PAP. I am going to practice with it on Monday on the pattern along with my Eagle. I hope to see a good combo of both that complement each other.
