Title: 900 Global Ball for a Sport Shot
Post by: LanemasterLefty on May 18, 2008, 03:23:10 AM
Is there one in the works ?  I bought the Break and the Break Perl at nationals a few weeks ago and I really could not use them, HOWEVER, they are now two of my all time favorites on any other type of shot...

I was just curious, because as much as I love the Global stuff it would be great to see two things....

1. A ball that will OOB shine on a sport shot
2. A 4 ball roller...  : )

I now have the creature pearl, to go along with the break and the pearl and they are fantastic !!

Maybe the Creature Solid will fit the spot you're missing? If not, they are coming out with another ball in The Break series! 900 Global makes some great equipment!

I'm pretty sure same core, just different cover. I didn't hear what the core is (or maybe I did, but forget), so i'm just going to guess that. Who knows!

.. We all do know, though, that it's going to be a great ball.

I don't think it's possible to "make" a ball for "a" sport shot.  Nationals is but one of nearly an infinite amount of sport patterns, laid down on one lane surface with one type of lane oil.  What works for me might be a dog for you.  However, the original Break should be a great ball for longer/heavier sport shots in general.  Fairly low RG, strong solid reactive cover...  That pretty much sums up stability for me.

Why do you need something with soo much hook potential, when you need control on sport shots?

Has that been confirmed?  I asked Eric if it was an existing core or something new, and he said he really couldn't say at this time.  He did say that it should be available in early July though.
