900 Global Eon video and written review
« on: June 28, 2018, 11:41:50 PM »

The Eon is one of the new releases for 900 Global for the upcoming season. It features the new Olloid symmetric core and the S82RX Pearl coverstock.

The Eon is part of the Prime Series and it is the most angular ball in the line. We tried the Eon in our typical house shot and this ball truly delivers.

The first thing I noticed with this ball is how clean it is through the front part of the lane. Even when I missed outside the ball never wanted to hook to early and as soon as it exits the pattern it makes a strong move to the pocket. When I missed inside I had to be careful to not miss too far in or the ball will skid a bit too much on fresh oil.

Once I found the sweet spot the Eon allowed me to play from different angles. I was able to play in my comfort zone around second arrow, and I was also able to play deeper than usual.

This ball is a good fit for a low rev, low speed bowler like me. The Eon gives me easy length and a strong motion in the backend. For high rev, high speed bowlers, the Eon will be a good piece to play steeper angles.

Personally, this ball will be a great transition ball for me. Once pieces like the Truth Tour or the Absolute Truth start to hook too early or once I start leaving flat corner pins, the Eon will be the ball to go to have more shape down the lane.

Overall I feel this ball is a great complement to the Truth Tour. The Truth Tour is a smooth, early rolling ball with a round shape, and the Eon will complement the Truth Tour perfectly providing more length and a stronger motion in the backend without being skid flip or unpredictable.

For bowlers looking for a ball with a strong backend motion on medium oil, the Eon will be a nice addition to their arsenal.

Thank you for watching!
