900 Global makes TV Debut
« on: October 25, 2008, 12:40:59 PM »
First tournament of the year...Jaros takes 900 Global to the championship round.  Used a hodge podge to get there.  Bounty and Break early and the Code mostly in the round of 8.  I will get with him to get a write up on how he played the lanes, layouts, and balls to post later this week.  Lets all wish Steve good luck.  Time for Global to get a share of the spotlight!

It's Jaros who's doing the bowling, not 900Global.

Congrats Steve and 900 Global.  Could this possibly be another year like he had when throwing Dyno.....

Jaros may be the bowler, but there is just something about having a 900 Global ball in your hand.  I don't know if it's the colors, or just because I always loved the old Columbia, or if it's the actual design or coverstock of the balls, but I smoke 'em when I'm throwing my Break Pearl and Creature Pearl!

EMotionally, I'd like to see Jaros win.

Intellectually and logically, I'd guess Duke has to be the favorite.

But, if you watched the scores for Barnes, he bowled some great games, came back STRONGLY when he was down and never gave in. No matter how much you may dislike him personally, I think he is becoming the bowler everyone expected him to be 10 years or so back. He will be today, and, in the near future, a force to be reckoned with, so to speak. I think those weird collapses of the past 2 - 4 years in the finals and on the TV show have hardened him. "Forged in the fire", the saying goes.

Rash has proven he can win. He has bowled great this weak and also has not weakened once. If the condition remains conducive to his style, he may just shoot 300. He can be amazing, as much as I did not like his attitude when he first came up. I have to say he also seems to be maturing and that will enable him to handle the PBA pressure.

Should be a fascinating show.
