Title: 900 Global Moxie Review by Kenneth Bland Jr
Post by: kenblandjr on March 06, 2015, 11:53:01 PM
Drilling: 55 x 4 7/8 x 35
Pap: 5 5/8 right 1 ½ up
Finish:  Box
Lane Conditions:  Heavy Oil
Summary:  This ball needs oil!  This is a awesome ball that thrives in oil.  It plows through it like no other ball I have thrown.  It starts up pretty early but still gets through the front part of the lane with little or no effort.  But again it definitely needs oil.  I have personally tested it on house patterns of 42 and 40 feet and it performed wonderfully like on the fresh. But you will have to move left rather quickly for the right hander and right for the left hander.  This ball allows you to play direct and open angles with a strong arcing motion back to the pocket.  The hitting power is unbelievable.  If you have trouble getting your ball to hook in the oil then pick up a Moxie and say goodbye to no hook on oily lanes and hello to the strikes.  Don’t be afraid to get left with this ball righties, it will come back and come back hard and strong.  A great ball for those heavy to med heavy oil patterns.

Putting the question in a few Spanish to English translators,  Gabriel is asking how the Moxie would work for someone that has lower speed and a lower rev rate.

I think this ball would suit any style of bowler, however some conditions may not match up well with ball and bowling style. For example, a bowler with low speed/low revs is not going to match up well with this ball on a light volume house shot or a shorter pattern. This ball is made for heavier volume/longer patterns and that is where it shines the best. Your driller should have some options for layouts as this ball is pretty drill friendly. Ball surface is going to have a huge impact on ball reaction. Hope this helps.
