I'll tell you what, my X is stronger than advertised. I was shocked the first time I threw it. It was like 5 boards more than my Drift. Something with a little more diff would be nice, get in to be able to get it around the corner.

to be honest I really don't know how they could improve on the X other then a stronger cover and less surface to be a little cleaner up front but still have the strong mid lane. I like the x as is for the most part though,I have other stuff I can wheel.

Maybe they will do what they did with the Favorite and Long Shot. If I agree with the specs, I'm all over this.

Really like the X but thought the cover was too weak to be effective on a wide variety of conditions so when it looked good I almost always had a better look with something else.

My thoughts exactly. A pearl X. Would love that combo again.

Oh, it's a control ball all the way. It's very similar to my NHSE. It just had more midlane and less pop down lane. Which is ok with me!

Absolute is getting a stronger cover, S80R Hybrid finished with an "E" pad (4000 - Blue/Orange/Black) and the X2 will have the S59 Solid cover finished with a "C" pad (2000 - Red/Black).

Yes seems to be but I bet it is still the same great shape the X had

I guess if you didn't get an X, but I have one and it's the nut.

I still have the favorite and long shot,I don't use the favorite any more but the long shot is still going strong.I love that combo in the x2 version.

It is supposed to roll little earlier than the original X for greater control but still same great shape.

I liked the X but felt it needed a much stronger cover to be more versatile...not sure going from S57 to S59 is going to do it for me

Could make quite a difference though. At least for those that didn't play around with surfaces. I might have to to get an X2. Was kind of bummed that I didn't go for an original X. The online prices never dropped to where I was really tempted to make an impulse buy, but this time around I just might have to call up the pro shop. If I don't get a Honey Badger first at least...

Ill add that i was always a little unsure about the X with the S57 cover. I felt like a cover around S63-65 would have grabbed my attention more

What are you going to compare them to?
I habe the Inception DCT, the Covert OPS and the Honey Badger. Any suggestion?

Well, I'd compare the Absolute to the DCT, and the X2... Could do the H since it's in the same line, or the Ops since they're all the same price point.

I think a comparison of the X2 to the Covert Ops makes more sense. The differences between the X2 and the Honey Badger should be fairly obvious, not so much in regards to the X2 and Covert Ops.
Absolute Truth going up against the Inception DCT is an easy one. Will be interesting to see that matchup too.

I agree with CoorZero. An X2 comparison with the Covert OPS will be interesting since both are solids. My guess is that the Covert will have more downlane motion and will be stronger overall, while the X2 will be more rolly and more even... but it will be interesting to see how they can complement each other.
And regarding the Absolute Truth, it will be also be interesting to see how different it is from the DCT since the S80 cover from the Absolute sounds like is going to be a hooking monster too.

Personally hoping for Respect qualities from the Absolute. Strong cover strong low RG core. Obviously OOB surface is different, but I don't go of box anyways. Kept my Respect at 2000.

I got to throw the Absolute Truth and was a little shocked, actually. Ball was drilled pin high, between the fingers with the cg kicked right. This ball hooked! Without a lot of help from me!
Yet, as big as the initial move was.......it did not keep hooking left....rather it kind of just set, and floated to the pocket with a real nice explosion on the backend!
This was my first time throwing Global so I didn't know exactly what to expect. It was definitely a pleasant surprise. This ball is strong though!!!!!!
