Title: After Dark Solid
Post by: sags on November 29, 2018, 01:25:54 PM
Hey Doom have you taken the surface of the AD Solid down to say 4000 or even 2000? The reason I ask is we got a Track Tundra and redrilled and it seem to work good but is real close to her After Dark with the polish on it. If so what did you see as far as carry and length with the S-30 sanded, thanks

Surface on S30 is great because it still gets through the fronts well, but isn't as squirrelly when it hits a puddle. 2000 will slow it down enough to really help it roll up. It won't puke, so carry shouldn't be affected unless you're very up the back and you're in the dirt. Imagine a very strong urethaneish kind of reaction.

Hey Sags, let me know how your experiment goes! I'm honestly debating on sanding my AFS down to 1000 for some sport patterns (thinking Nationals). My idea would be to let the lanes change, and use this ball to get the added length rather than move in.

I'll do that once I talk the wife into sanding it down and trying it. After this week it'll kinda hard threw it good in both travel league and at home center
