Afterburner vs. Rhino
« on: October 14, 2020, 09:41:20 AM »
Does anybody have a comparison between the new afterburner and the Brunswick rhino Pearl of the line that's out now? I'm interested in the Afterburner... My Rhino's a little old now but I'm wondering if they're going to be similar in overall shape and hook with the same layout

Thanks!!

I've only thrown an Afterburner but have drill hundreds of Rhinos for customers.  The Afterburner is stronger down lane than Rhino by my estimate of at least 5 boards depending on rev-rate.  The rhino is smoother overall throughout the lane and a little less ball overall.  If you are looking of a direct replacement for your Rhino the Afterburner might be a little bit to much.  If want something you can open up the lane a bit more with and move a little deeper then the Afterburner will probably fit the bill for you.
