Can't say anything but if it happens it will be a huge step for 900 and wow would be an understatement.
-
Why you gotta be like that???
-
Are they coming back to the tour? Or is this bigger than that?
-
I know, sorry didn't mean to be like that :)
Billdozer....IMO Bigger
-
Is there an actual point to this post?
-
They're buying Brunswick Products?
-
Oooo, oooo, oooo! I got it, they cracked cold fusion?
-
They lured Mo away from Brunswick & Radical?
-
I signed the contract...
-
I signed the contract...
That was my next guess. Party Pooper! ;D

I was going to wait till after Christmas day, but the holiday cheer will rob me of my thunder. ;)
-
Such a tease...
-
I can see them drop the 900 Global part and stick with AMF brand only. Storm then taking complete control over them and making AMF equipment in UTAH.
-
Signed what contract? I'm confused.
-
Great news for 900 global.....
-

It was a joke he made Thomas. I'm interested to hear this news
-
Staff guys... all a bunch of teases!
If it's good news for 900 Global/AMF, then I am happy about it.
-
I think someone already guessed the right answer.

Jokes on you. T-Mobile doesn't do contracts anymore!!!
At least that's what they tell me...

The Big B thing would make sense. They ARE the closest to Mexico...
Would make for an awkward homecoming for some...
-
It's NOT Big B but...BUT there is a B involved...

Don't feel bad my contract with ATT is up and I am not resigning because they too are doing away with it come the first of 2015. I can count it as a bowling contract if I have bowling pics on there and use it to check ballreviews right?
-

Is there Mor then just a B with it?
-
Big B in the 900global plant shared with Storm. Taking on Ebonite/Track/Hammer/Columbia.
-
I'm sure there's quite a few more letters involved...
-
unBelievaBle
-
Brunswick bought by Storm????
and moving to San Antonio?
Phil's heart is healed.
-
BowlMor is involved somehow i think, maybe bought the AMF300 and 900Global rights. People keep saying has nothing to do with Brunswick
-
This has nothing to do with Brunswick....not everything has to do with them...
-
WAG time.... Since everyone else is guessing. I see one really big B that hasn't been mentioned. If PBIII were to go to Global, then I'd say wow....
-
PBIII is an employee of Brunswick
-
Ric, then spill the beans...
-
What beans?
-
Spill the beans -
The derivation of this expression is sometimes said to be a voting system used in ancient Greece. The story goes that white beans indicated positive votes and black beans negative. Votes had to be unanimous, so if the collector 'spilled the beans' before the vote was complete and a black bean was seen, the vote was halted.
-
If you have information, say it. What's so hard to understand?
-
How bout Storm buying 900global and AMF300?
-

Some people really ejaculate all over themselves by being passive aggressive.

Please, I hope this part doesn't happen. That would be sad.
-
Insiders are insiders for a reason.
-
It deals with a PBA 'star' signing with a 'new' company...it will be announced Jan 1st
That's all I'll say...
-
Perhaps (B)elmonte?...hmmm!
-
A 'new' company can mean brand new, or new to this player. I am personally hoping for a new company. The market is not yet over saturated with equipment.
-
All this over a stupid staff player, im right in saying B.I.G.
-
Holy cow never thought a simple little post would be create so much speculation but it's fun to read through it all. I really like the one about a phone contract.
What I heard is what Rico mentioned. Some may not view it as BIG but I certainly do. Then again that is why we are all entitled to our own opinions.
Happy Holiday's all and Enjoy that new 900 under the tree.
-
Do people pay much attention to PBA players anymore and who they are with? Currently the televised PBA events are dated enough to have two ball releases since the taping.
-

Yes you did. ;D
I mean, after all, you heard something ("but I can't tell you!"), told everyone you heard something ("all I can say is wow" <--HYPE), and are amazed people would be curious.
Seems to me peeps would speculate. What other point could there have been to the OP?
-
Someone bought the PBA?

I do believe people pay attention to what the pro's are using, I've heard on many occasions that I "want" or "don't want" a particular ball strictly based on what PBA bowler was using it. Now it's not as much as in the past but it still matters. Once again that is just my humble opinion.

I'm not in the position to say anything as it could be a simple rumor. I'm sure if it is true there would be a announcement of some sort coming out of SA.

I know, I'm just playing.
BUT: if you preface the statement you're hearing with, "this is just a rumor", then you aren't spreading it....you're telling us what you're hearing.
-
This is just a wild guess, but I think 900 Global probably signed a "big named" player to bowl with their equipment, thus bringing 900 Global back to the PBA. ;D

Then this statement, " .... huge step for 900 and wow would be an understatement." is so far from true for 95% of us that it was "one toke over the line"!!!!
-
Parker Bohn to G900.
-
Considering that one of the recent topics in the 900 global forum was a ball comparison between a Brunswick ultimate inferno and a 900 global ball, we can all 100% deduce that the big news is that 900 is taking over Brunswick.
Just remember 2+2 always equals 5 in these forums
-
900Global on tour and any name bowler going to their company will be minimal in sales. It is however a company spending a lot of money.
Who cares to watch taped shows from a few months ago with bowlers using a ball that has two releases since the telecast available?

Im sure if it were the other way around and say Pete Weber for example went to Brunswick or DV8, you'd be at your computer, with your pants off.

My pants are off now just for you. (enjoy that)
If I were them I would pull sponsorship and spend my money else where. No body is watching ESPN while the NFL is on which is why they are on the time spot they have. I lost excitement for the PBA years ago with their continued joke of broadcasting bowling. I hope they turn it around, but I am not holding my breath. With the shows taped months in advance it is about as relevant as watching a PBA event on youtube from 1996.
-
What's worse? posting on this because you may actually be interested care or just having some fun or being petty and posting belittling those that do post? Waste of time?
-
I have more fun with the YouTube shows from 1996. They actually bowled for decent money back then.
-
I think worse is starting a post intentionally trolling people with information that you know, but won't share. It's like a playground with 5 year olds.... I've got a toy you don't and I'm gonna rub it in your face.... Seriously people... If you're not going to bother sharing then why even start this circle jerk of misinformation in the first place?
-
And yet you still post...
-
Obviously, you've never been in a real circle jerk... This in no way resembles one.
Wikipedia told me so.
-
So we wonder what's wrong with bowling?
People can't have a civil conversation without it turning into this...grow up people. I was told a bit of information from someone that is a very reliable sources within the ball manufacturing business and I promised this said person that I would so call "spill the beans" So in the attempt to have a little fun I started this thread in hopes of having candid conversation but obviously that is beyond some of you. So with that being said have a nice holiday. Take care....
