I picked this piece up from a fellow poster here on BR and I have to say....I am very impressed.

I had been looking for a good pin under ball that would allow me to play the middle part of the lane inside the ball track. So I picked this up from one of you all on here.

Well I am in love. With everything else I have used the ball checked up too hard off the end of the pattern. The Lunatic let's me sit inside and not have the shot break down in 8 frames.

THe ball gets thru the heads cleanly, makes a slight move in the mids and has a very even and smooth transition off the spot...I have been plesantly surprised. I normally have to move area codes with my other equipment during the night (Burn, Psycho, Evolution, Dynamo-X2 etc) but I moved 5 boards with my feet and 5 boards with my eyes all night, that's it.

I think I am going to pick up another one of these gems when finances permit and drill it up differently.

I have mine pin under bridge, sounds like it works very similar to yours doug! excellent ball on THS and was a savior on Cheetah! doesn't over react and allows me to play up the boards or open up and swing it inside.  I kept the oob polish on it, adds a nice little pop to it.

They don't have to be a lunatic to cost you money...but I think most of us have a story like that, lol.
