i'm trying to convince two guys on my sport shot team to get the one our PSO randomly stocked. ive gotten 3 balls since december so my boss won't let me buy another.
but i have two guys on my team who only used alley balls till this year so they figured since they used 11 and 12 pounds alley balls thats what they needed to get. the one "manned" up to a 14 pounder but the other one i'm trying to convince to get a 15 pounder

Careful. Anyone who can throw an 11lb ball even a house ball comfortably might be a bridge too far to go to 15 and don't want your teammates nursing injuries. I found even throwing my dad's old 13lb rubber ball uncomfortably light and was firing photon torpedoes down the lane. Throw a mix of 15 and 16 but even 16 don't like throwing over 3 games or slide knee sometimes hurts. Better to go too light than too heavy especially if they are casual bowlers.

I get what you’re saying. But the guy is in shape and 25 years old

My original Badger is a skid flip monster and carries way better for my style than the HyRoad which rolls perfect, but leaves back row pins more than any ball I've ever thrown. I am thinking about pulling the trigger on another Badger. I'm going to put an old school label leverage on it 3 3/8 pin to PAP, next to ring finger. I would love to see an earlier motion that I can play right of 15, rather than opening up my launch angles so steep with my 5 1/2" pin high Badger.

I was looking at one of these on bowlingball.com and they list this as a heavy oil ball is that correct. I would think it would be medium to heavy

I would call it Medium to Medium/Heavy. Not a full blow heavy oil ball by any means.

Badger is a great transition ball. It's built for that.

Not sure why, I prefer the HB: both OG and HB Claw.
Not too sold on my Badger and White Hot so far.

Different cores with HB/HB Claw vs Badger/White Hot

Sorry, but I'm going Match Up Black Pearl as the sleeper ball. But I have to day, I'm very impressed with what I've seen from the Badger.

Nail on the head here. Some core shapes just don't match up with people's games. Live, learn, move on.

I picked one up and shot 774 out of the gate with it. Nice to be able to keep up with the crankers for a change.

I just ordered one today hope that I have it by Friday, can't beat the price at Buddies or their service just a grade A number one place to do business.

I can't wait to order mine. Stupid taxes being delayed
