Badger Infused Question
« on: January 26, 2020, 06:32:32 AM »
Maybe someone who has thrown Badger Infused can answer this for me.

I'm a no thumb bowler who cradles the ball in my palm and forearm. I recently bought a Pitch Black, and while I think the ball rolls fine, the urethane cover is so smooth, that slips off my forearm. Not sure that I really want to use that in competition.

I didn't realize until I had this ball, how much I needed extra tackiness to hold onto ball.

So my question is, does Badger Infused feel tacky like a reactive ball does. I think I'd like to get this to fill that hole in my arsenal, but am afraid of getting another ball that's going to slip off my hand.

The Badger Infused does "feel" like a reactive ball on the surface depending on how dull the cover is.  If you sand it with a 500 Grit pad and don't clean the dust it will "feel" just like the pitch black.  Make sure after you set the surface you clean the ball with a ball cleaner and you will have that "tacky" feel.  Also I recommend using a shammy pad while bowling to remove the oil from the cover to keep the reaction and the feel.
