Dream vs Dream Big Pearl
« on: December 16, 2015, 12:04:32 AM »
Question to any of the staffers that have drilled and thrown the dream big pearl. How does it compare to the Dream?

Thanks in advance

This is just my opinion between the two balls,   not many bowlers throw like me,  IM sure MY ball reaction is going to be much different  then most bowlers throwing there ball,  so what reaction I may see on equipment will very im sure from bowler to bowler and what works for me may not work for the viewer reading this posting so   please keep that in mind as well..  TY  :)

i have thrown both,  My opinion is the Dream big pearl ( S-79 alert pearl cover ) covers a few more boards on the backend once it sees friction over the Dream ( S-74  responce pearl reactive cover OOB finish   both balls have the same  RG 2.48   Diff .054  MB .024 )  both balls are NOT drilled the same way but very close. I really liking the Dream big pearl thus far because I have a new look with it then what Ive had in my bag over the last few years.  for me, I started with the dream Big Pearl and once the lanes started to break down I switch to the dream with out making a huge ajustment with my feet or my eyes.  its a very versital ball   if you want to stand left and swing it you able to with tweeking the surface alittle ( I took mine to a E PAD )  or if you want to stand more in the middle or right and play straighter up it works just as good at OOB finish or me.. when I threw this ball last week I saw in practice the pins stayed alittle lower on the deck and they seemed to fly around more then some of my other 900 Global equipment during practice  ( I had the Messenger taking out the 10 pin several times )  this ball will turn heads not only because how sweet it looks but how well it rolls down the lane.   Release date is said to be Jan 11th..  its a great addition to have in anyones bag.. #900GLOBAL  #900GlobalDreamBigP.  #900GlobalR&D  I can sum this ball up in 1 word  AWESOME

This is just my opinion between these two balls...

 IN BAG

Break Solid S-70   poured by Storm  color  Black and Purple  9/07 Its a beast
Break Pearl S-70   "                     "  color  orange and charcoal  1/08 favorite ball
  Break Down S-70            OOB
  Chemical X S-55             OOB
  Boo Yah!!  S-20              OOB
  Dream  S-74                  OOB
Dream Big Pearl S-79    E pad
Total Respect S-79        N pad great ball for heavier oil or longer oil patterns

still have to drill the  Black ops and Dream Big in the very near future  :)
If you want it, go after it and make it happen.  If you don't, you have no one to blame but yourself....or maybe your just not throwing the right equipment  :)

Thanks, I have a NIB Dream that I've been sitting on and was planning to drill over the Christmas break, but maybe I just wait on it and drill a Dream Big Pearl once it comes out and save the Dream for a rainy day.
