Title: bounty Hunter drill?
Post by: tdub36tjt on September 17, 2009, 08:19:34 AM
so in the other bh topic I see people complaining about it rolling out I was gonna go 5 x 5. but now I'm thinking maybe 6 x 5? pap is 4 3/8 over 3/8 down. like 18 to 19 mph 350 rpm. I do see decent oil but not soup. probably med heavy oil.

what type of surface are you bowling on? i.e. Pro, HPL, wood or guardian?  Is that mph off your hand or down the lane?  Where is this ball going to fit?  What balls will be with this in your bag?

sorry I haven't updated my profile in a while and have changed my release a lot. the lanes are brunswick anvilanes. I have a mega friction for my smooth  oiler so it will be my more angular oiler. ball speed is off my hand

not exatly sure on pin to PAP but around 4.5 x 4.5  Bought it used and just plugged the fingers and drilled to change span and added IT but didn't measure. Its a basic label leverage though

I would do a 5.5 x 4.5, I think that would give you a little help before the ball wants to hook up.  This ball is very strong and anything that I've seen with strong drill and big weight holes just don't store enough energy to carry well.  Unless they flame chuck the ball.  I would possible find a used one before punching up a new one.  Just a thought.  Good luck.
