well i was at the pro shop last wednesday and my pro shop guy had just recieved the bh pearl. So he convinced me to drill it up so he could tell people how it reacted.
we went with the pin about 2 1/2 inches above the fingers, the cg is kicked a lil right above the midline and the mb is drilled almost completely out.
little story, 2 weeks i shot 461 in this house, i couldnt get anything to work and i mega fried, i couldnt even make spares i let my mental game get the best of me, worst night of bowling ive had in about 6 years...so we drill this up to see how it goes.
1st game start with 208, first 3 frames 7/. ball was a little squirty and i thought about putting it away but i wanted to stick with it and see how it went. next 2 games, 267, 265. ball shined once the lanes opened a little bit. i had room left and right and it carried like crazy. i leaked a few shots right that i thought were gonna either be flat 10's or 2,8, 10's. but nope...ball came off the spot and carried all ten.
it was a nice change from 461 to 740.
ball gives me a solid ball feel with the pearl length and it very easy to read the reaction.
so far its another great piece. hopefully it continues.
