Break Pearl or Break Point Pearl.
« on: July 15, 2009, 02:55:24 PM »
I have a Break Peral and was always interested in a BP pearl. Any one have or thrown both, and is there any noticable difference in how they roll?

I have both

The BP goes long and arcs hard to the hole. Its lower Rg core and S-70 cover give it a look similar to the Original Inferno for me.

The BPP goes about 3 to 5 feet longer but makes a quicker and more acute transition to the flip.  It has a slightly higher Rg and a stronger cover (S-73).  Its a look I've not had before, but it carries exceptionally well.

Both are very versatile balls that take to surface changes very easily.

Hope this helps.

The Break Point Solid has the S73 cover.
You might be thinking of the Break Solid, it has the S70 cover.

clt, the BPP is also S73 ....

NoRev ...
This is a very subjective subject ...drilling and surface will be HUGE variables in this ....

That said, ....FOR ME, personally, I couldn't see having both, HOWEVER, ...if you got a chance to steal one of them off of eBay or something, then there is enough difference between the two balls to have them BOTH in your bag for different looks......

In his post BP = The Break Pearl (S70), not the BreakPoint (S73).

I am a fan of 900 global, I agree the reactions would be to similar to have both.

Don't know about that.

Depends on the size of your arsenal I guess, but if you are running an arsenal of, say, 6 balls then there would be sufficient differentiation between the two to justify having both as there is a significant difference in the look in the back end.  On the off chance that one  or the other was not carrying, I am sure the different look in the back end would cure that problem

Hello forum I just punched up my BreakPoint Pearl and I also have the Break Pearl. I've had so much success with my Break Pearl that I had to try the BPP.
As I have heard said here my hope is that there is some separation between these two pieces, I drilled them the same with the pin inbetween and above the finger with the cg down and right about an inch with the mb an inch right of the thumb  had to add a weight hole because my starting top weight was 4oz. no weight hole on my Break Pearl. Im hoping for a bit more length and a sharper turn off the spot. Today Im bowling a Fun Day tournament in Milpitas Ca. Basically this is a big pot game. I won the Last game pot a few months back and made $930.00 dollars so Im hoping that 900Global will help me deliver the goods. I will report back this afternoon on the BreakPoint Pearl and The Break Pearl as well my other 900Global balls If they see action. 900Globals in the bag BP, BPP, S75, Bounty and a Kinetic Solaris Pearl cover Poured by 900Global Well I threw my BreakPoint Pearl Only to have to bag it in shadow practice as the lanes were toast Ill post again when theres enough oil to use it.
