Break Pearl-update...
« on: December 13, 2008, 08:55:23 AM »
Anoyone else had their Break Pearl not really want to flip on the backend. I am not saying it doesn't hook but it really lays off in the backend which I am surprised with. I was thinking maybe it was oil soaked when I got it??I haven't had it very long but it reminds me of the NVS I had that just was super condition sensitive and didn't really hook much in the backend which surprises me with a pearl.

You are correct, the oven removes oil if any but also bleeds Plasticizer, which is part of the chemical make up, the hook part that has not cross linked. Keep heating the ball and keep extracting the soon the ball becomes so brittle that it will simply fall apart. Than it really won't hook.

Doesn't the temp have to exceed a certain amount before the ball will begin to bleed the plasticizers?? I though you had to get over 140 degrees before that would happen.
