Break Pearl Vs. Other Peals on the market?
« on: April 02, 2008, 06:48:46 AM »
Hey BR Family,

I'm receiving a Break Pearl today and will be laying it out/drilling it up next week.

For those of you who have this ball, how does it compare to your other Asymmetric Pearls with similar layouts?

My stats are in my profile. This will be my strong pearl in my lineup.

Thanks!
Rammy

Similar length as the Gravity Shift with a slightly more angular move...about the same boards covered, but for me, a more useable ball on a wider variety of patterns.

My Break Pearl and Complete NV are very close.
They both have the same layout (rico).
The Complete NV is 1 or 2 borads stronger and slightly more angular.
That said, I like throwing the Break Pearl better. I just get such a good read with this ball!

I had quite an afternoon with mine.  Killed the hole.  Slaughtered it in fact.  Too hard.  I'm gonna knock off some of the shine with a gray scotch brite to see if I can transfer a little of the backend motion to an earlier midlane read.  Mine is drilled 5.25" pin to pap(directly over bridge) with the mb @ 75 degrees and a fourth hole in the thumb quadrant about 2 inches below my PAP along the PAL.  Moves a LOT more than I expected.  I can only imagine how this ball reacts for me with a stronger drilling.  I'm gonna get one with a drilling closer to 4.5" pin to pap and a hole just an RCH past my PAP.

Good luck with yours.  Were it not for the Cell, this would be the BOTY.
