First Impressions of the Break Point Pearl
« on: July 21, 2009, 04:21:26 PM »
This ball is good!

I drilled this ball 4.5 with the mass bias straight down.

Compared to my very similarly drilled S75 at 1000 Abralon out of the box, this ball moves about 4 boards more!

It is really strong for a pearl.

I have 17MPH ball speed and about 350RPM rev rate.  For me this ball is pretty angular.  That is saying a lot because not much equipment goes sideways for me.

There was some carry down and the ball seemed to handle it quite nicely.

I was able to move in and get around it more and have a real nice reaction.  The ball carried very well once I finally realized what it does.

All in all very impressed with this ball.  If you have any questions about it feel free to ask.

I haven't thrown a pearl this strong in some time now. On a medium ths this ball is a bit much when playing straighter with my 15mph speed, but when playing deeper inside lines Ive had good success, but on heavier mediums this ball really shines. It reads the midlane really nice and once lined up the BPP turns the corner consistently with ease and carry is just plain phenomenal. This ball is stronger than I thought it would be. Currently Im using the Break Pearl alot as it excels on the mediums I see in my area, The Break Point Pearl is another nice offering from the guys at 900Global.
