Break S75 = SICK!
« on: June 04, 2008, 02:43:29 AM »
Only one word can describe this ball, even with the rather weak 6x4 (no x-hole) drill I put on it:

SICK!

Stronger than the Rico Break I have? Absolutely. This black and silver beauty pushes through the heads nicely before picking up just enough in the midlane. After that, it's "HOLY $#I+" to the pins. This bad boy should have a turn signal. Overall ball motion is akin to Storm Shift or Roto Grip Mystic, IMHO, but with a bit more overall hook. Dulled, I can see the S75 hanging with any non-particle ball on the market when it comes to oil-handling capabilities.

A more in-depth, less "omg, I got a new ball, it hooks a ton" review is forthcoming, as is a comparison video between the S75, the solid, and pearl. Until then, though, I'll try not to get bored standing so far left...hahaha...

Yes I agree,  great easy name.

Break
Break pearl
Break S-75

Yes I like it,  plain and simple and to the point.
And they knock down pins.

How much longer for the video?  Does the video have to wait until after Bowl Expo as well?  I already made a space in my bag for this ball!

I did good with the break cashing in 4 sweepers on friday at the shoot-out at the fort in Ft Wayne, IN. bowled great all weekend with the break till sunday, fooled myself into playing an opposite line then I did all weekend. I can't wait to see the Break S75. might be a blagh name but when your smokin the field who looks at the name they are looking at your name!

does this ball hook early and snap like crazy? Is it the best ball ever?

Yes.

900Global select pro select proshops have received over a quarter million pre-orders for this ball.  The release of this current ball, on the heels of the company's first four wildly successful offerings during the 2007-2008 season, has created one problem.  eBay, one of the world's largest online marketplaces, has received over 65,000 listing for used bowling equipment based off of the intital pre-sales and is expecting it only to get worse.  Current used bowling ball owners that have pre-ordered the Break S75 are being encouraged to donate their old equipment to the Red Cross so that they can be used for boat anhcors that have become in short supply since much of the midwest can only get around using small boats, kayaks, canoes, and inflatable boats.
