cracking. So done with their stuff!!!
« on: September 29, 2013, 12:47:44 PM »
My bank just cracked. This is number 6 that have cracked from that plant.  My Storm, Ebi, and Brunswick have never cracked.  I'm so done with their stuff. Wasting hard earned money. Expensive as all hell. Anyone want a 14lb Look?  Single drill. Not cracked. Less than 10 games. I also have a bounty hunter pearl a black and pink Hook. All free just pay for shipping. Doom, if you or sevenpin want them I can meet you guys somewhere.

If your really done with your Global equipment, I always wanted to try a Bounty hunter pearl. Is that 14lb also? or 15lb?

I have a Dirty Look and a Purple Eagle and have had no cracking issues, heck I have never had a ball crack on me.

Sevenpin- All the equipment I have are 14lb. I've only had problems with their stuff. My belief is how thin the shell is. When ET was with them, he explained to me they had done research on this and the thickness doesn't matter. I bought into it. Wanting to believe in their stuff. But I my belief as well as the shop I go to that shell thickness does matter. We compared other equipment to theirs to see the thickness difference and there is a good amount.

Some of your Storm may be made there too. You just wouldn't know it.

I know they poured some of their stuff. Only thing is, the shell is thicker than the 900 Global and AMF. Plus the resins they use are Storms, not theirs.

i'm not sure what it is, but I've seen quite a few people post on here about having problems with 900 Global pours. I have an original Bounty that I love and have had for years with no problems

Dont all companies have at least a 1 year warranty on there eqiupment as long as the ball has not been mistreated example.......  Left in your car overnight from heat or cold. Exotic drillings. Finger inserts ect.....  I have a 900 global look, missing link and amf incinerate along with brunswick revolver , lethal revolver, slingshot and roto grip shatter , rumble. I am not a staffer nor do i just buy one brand. I have never had a ball crack on me from any company. I keep my drillings simple pin above or below the bridge and i dont not use finger inserts. I dont know maybe im one of the lucky ones that this hasnt happened to yet. If you take care of you equipment it will take care of you.

I've been bowling for over 30 years. Was a PBA member for 20 years.  I know all about taking care of equipment. No exotic drills either.  Yes, grips. Only 1 company I have issues with and it's this one. Been with the same ball driller all these years too. My other equipment is just fine. I've had a creature, creature pearl, bank roll, double clutch pearl, link, and the bank now. They have taken care of me in the past but I still have to pay to re-drill them. I've had them in a temperature controlled environment never below 60 and never above 80. I love throwing money away. Remember, money grows on trees. That's why our country is in the crapper right now. Not the drillers fault. So got to pay him. Rant off.

Well it sounds like 900 global/amf is not the right company for you. Just curious to hear where they are cracking at. All in the same spot or diffent.

From the thumb all the way around the ball to the ring finger on most. The one that just cracked was from the thumb hole all the way around to the static balance hole.
