So... There's been some looking on my part at other companies products in the last couple of months, and it was due to several things.

1. Didn't really match up with the newer releases (Dream, Respect, Moxie) and selfishly felt like I should. I had an idea on what the releases were supposed to do, and I just didn't put in the worm.

2. I didn't follow any of my normal rules. I didn't practice, or change surfaces, or anything. I threw them, didn't find them agreeable to me, and threw my hands up in the air.

3. Been going through some personal changes in my life, and bowling kind of fell by the wayside, which is new for me.

So, with all that out of the way, allow me to say this.

I've done a little work, and have decided that I will remain in San Antonio for the foreseeable future. Looking forward to giving my BR brethren the honest scoop on some pieces from 900 Global!

That being said, lets get down to some minor reviews!!

Dream - drilled 60*5*35 oob surface.
This ball is skid flip at it's most extreme. I couldn't use it on a house shot unless I took all of my hand out of it and played up the gutter. Haven't tried it yet on this particular condition, but feel like a longer pattern where you need recovery would suit this ball.

Dream On - Same drilling as the Dream. This ball was interesting. Expected it to check up earlier than it does, but it reads the mids well and when it hits... Well dang. Very strong through the pins, allows me a lot of mistaken room on long patterns ( I used it on Route 66 and it was great!) And on the house shots, I can get in and really wheel it. My favorite out of the newer releases. Ready to drill another 45*4.5*65 with more surface for floods.

Moxie - 60*5*40 no hole oob - Wow, is this ball early. I tried it on Route 66 and it burned up. Wow. Balls usually don't hook too early for me. Used it on a house shot, and it was as smooth as butter. Might put a low hole in it to separate the flares some.

Respect - 60*5*40 4000 grit. This is the polar opposite of the Moxie. Long and strong on the back. I hate 1500 polished, so I hit it with a 4000 pad. Read much better, but I think I need to keep my angles more in front of me with it. May need a hole as well.

All Day - 60*5*65 OOB. Talk about another smooth ball. I couldn't get this ball to jump off the spot if I tried. Very smooth, good hit. Actually read the lane a little earlier than the Moxie.

Night Hawk SE - 60*5*65 OOB. This shouldn't come as a shocker, but this ball is amazing. Clean through the fronts, reads the mids right, and more on the back end than any medium oil ball.

Boost Pearl - 60*5*35 OOB. Loved the Hooks, but the Boost is smoother off the spot without being too smooth.

How do you think the All Day compares to the Roto Grip Disturbed?

From what I've seen of the Disturbed, same ball motion as the All Day, may have a bit more oil handling capabilities.

In a previous post I mentioned my Breakdown purchased in Feb.2015 cracked completely around the ball.  The distributor offered to replace it with another Breakdown or a Black Ops as both are the same price.  I chose the Black Ops, because with my high ball speed I did not match up to the Breakdown.  However, just the opposite with the Black Ops.  All I can say is WOW!  This ball is a THS killer.
This ball is renewing my faith in 900 Global.

Black Ops is awesome in every shape and way. Glad to hear you're liking it. I'll be punching up an Ops, Break Down, Booyah and another On soon.

Doom first off glad to hear your back, it looks like you and myself like the same drillings on balls except I have to go with a 4 1/2" pin to pap due to wrist/arm problems. As far as the Ops I think you will really like it if you liked the Dream, I've drilled both with the same angles as your Dream and find the Ops (oob)to be not as extreme on the backend as the Dream and a couple of boards less. I also have another Ops, Breakdown and Nighthawk SE drill the same as your SE is. You can't get the Breakdown or SE out of my hands right now. On the Ops drilled this way(taken down to 3000) I find it about 2' or so earlier than the SE and a good 4 to 5 boards more just FYI.

I already have a Black Eagle drilled like the Night Hawk, so the Ops is going to get 80*4.5*30, and I'll sock another away. I have a War Eagle with that layout and I love it. I'll drill the Break Down like the Black Eagle. I don't like high RG balls with small angles.

Thanks, TJ! I'm not a quitter, and I'm going to figure out what needs to happen. Next up, trying to make a Combustion Core work for me lol.

Welcome back. Glad you decided to stay the course. I think a Pure will change your attitude with the Combustion Core. That ball is nothing but money.
