Title: First Bounty Pending
Post by: EricThomas on November 06, 2008, 02:23:59 AM
Steve Barinque of San Antonio, TX has claimed the first Bounty.  Upon USBC confirmation he will be the first to claim his share.  When it is confirmed Steve will actually hold all $25,000 as he also drilled the ball.  Steve runs the local pro shop at Randolph Air Force Base.

Bowled one game and shot 279 with an eight pin in the third frame.

Awesome ball!!

Jamie Leonhardt, pro shop operator at Rose Bowl lanes, drilled the new Bounty Wed afternoon.  He had 2 good shots at the prize but missed however his series was 289-279-246==814 which might be the first 800 with the ball.

Very strong midlane and controllable but powerful backend.  Around an arrow stronger than a similar drilled S75.

I hit my cover with 4000 Abralon and light polish. It was very smooth through the heads and the backend was more than I have ever experienced.
