Next Global "Piece" (LOL)
« on: December 06, 2019, 09:35:07 AM »
I am liking my After Dark Pearl and I think I'm going to add a complementary piece to this on the pearl side of my bag.

I'm going to go with the Emerald/Gold Boost Pearl.

Doom.....do you like this as a natural step up?  It's got a medium RG and some decent differential (.043).  I am definitely looking for something with some bang off the spot where the ADP is smoother...

Tell my (potentially former) PSO who called it an "erratic entry level ball"  :o

He did at least sell me an After Dark Pearl, though I question whether the drilling he put on it without actually asking (looks like about 5.5x60) will work anywhere but that house without much oil outside 3rd arrow and none outside 1st.

*sigh*

Erratic? I don't think I've ever heard that term used. Boost is by far one of the best "entry level" balls. If you see lighter conditions often and throw 900G, you should have both a Boost and After Dark

I put it in the same category as the Vibes. Lot of bang for the buck and can get multiple reactions with different layouts and surface.

yeah, more reasons to fire him  :P

Not that any PSO really knows 900 Global around here and I have to drive farther to any other one.

Er...I can bowl slower and potentially more accurately? ::) :P I do have excess side rotation but it's certainly not what I envisioned.

Now had he ASKED LIKE HE SHOULD I would have said "make it flippy" and meant 4x25  >:(

eta: My angle is a guess but it's pin over middle finger.

Umm... Not what I would have done unless you really want to keep it straight through the fronts...

I did say to him "the volume's low and I want to play straighter", mostly because people that are scoring well are playing straighter and my stroker game leaves out stand left throw right, but the ball choice with a normal layout would have been sufficient and he should have known that.

Anyway, time for a new pro shop for next time, whenever that may be.

Some people can't make that ball dance,I can.  I really missed my purple cream boost once she gave up and can't wait for my new one to show up.
900 Global really has the tougher/lighter conditions covered in their line up. Love my x,had a HB that was awesome and my boost was one of my alltime fav's
The harder I try the harder they fall
