Fun time for me!
« on: March 17, 2009, 03:09:26 AM »
Ok ..
Haven't done this kind of post in a LOOOOONG TIME!!  So, ...
See below, this is what I have:
MoRich Hercules pin 4" from axis, mass bias @ 5 1/2" w/ a hole just under and past pap, modified hook-set drill.

MoRich Hercules pin 2 1/4 from axis, mass bias @ 6 7/8" w/ a small hole just inside and below pap...control drill.

This is me:
PAP: 5 5/8 - 3/4 up
Medium speed, medium revs - speed and revs match...

Now ..
I consulted KOTM and he said... if I were to add, he'd lean towards (and I'll convey his 900 Global suggestions only ) but he said either the original Break, or the S75.

Well, since I can get away w/ stronger stuff because I'm not heavy handed, I was leaning S75.  I know KOTM will do it right, but ...hook set seems to work for me,...I'd think he'd do something along the lines of Hercules #1 listed above..you think ??

Ideas? Thoughts?

Anyone.....Bueller?!

Jeff, why did he jump off the Morich bandwagon, and now Global?

Because he knows a good thing when he sees it?

Jeff what you might find with the S75 as I have found with the entire Break series is continuation rather than hook, set.  You might get a bit more hook, set from a Bounty due to the slightly stronger cover.

Jeff,

The S75 would be a better choice to go with the what you are looking for. KOTM should know how to lay it out to get the reaction you like.  The S75 is a hitting machine and I love it's versatility.  For me I have a more continuous reaction drill on it and it just keeps coming and just clears decks.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Mike, ...great info there!

BWDavy ...Mike above said what I was going to say to you,...KOTM can get anything to hook-set ..it all depends on how it's drilled.

This might be fun!

I drilled an S75 for myself with a layout that has guaranteed hook, set always for me.  Not with this piece.  Anyway, good luck with yours. Hook, set or continuation, you will love it!!!!
