Post by: mainzer on January 31, 2008, 09:58:31 PM
does the ball get down the lane and fininsh strong with pin up drilling? or should I drill it to get down the lane first?

Remeber I am speed dominant and throw high 18s and low 19s

This ball is a monster pin up or down.. I've seen both speed and rev dominant players throw this piece.. I bowled a tournament with this strongly rev/dom guy.. We bowled on a med volume 39 ft oil pattern.. He had it pin down..  And he still got it to push quite far downlane, and the ball still had a lot of pop in the back..

Don't know if you understand swedish, but just linked it so you could see their layouts, these 4 guys are among the swedish elite, two are former world champs, and they were all swinging this ball like it was a houseshot at the same tournament i was at, and mind you the first 5 boards were no mans land..

Dang, I wish I could read Swedish!

Getting my Break this week.  Any suggestions on layouts for a stroker, about 14mph, medium revs?  Don't know my PAP.

Speed: 14-15 mph, ~225-250 rpm.

Mine is drilled 4.5 x 6 - MB directly under thumb, with pin 3" above centerline (puts the pin above ring finger).

I have no problem with the ball getting down the lane and finishing strong.  It doesn't have a strong "snap" on the end, but a strong, continuous arc.

This ball is the most controlable, consistent ball I've ever thrown.
