Have any Initial Thoughts on the Aspect?
« on: September 11, 2020, 06:49:02 AM »
Out of the latest Global releases, this piece intrigues me the most. Who's thrown it? How ya liking it? I'm looking for some feedback before I pull the trigger on it.

This is a pretty good discussion and demo of the ball:

Does anyone have any idea where I can find Steelfingers Bowling Products? I have arthritic fingers and I think they might help. If nobody knows about that specific product, is there anything else that is known to work for bowling with arthritis?

This is beautiful! I was thinking a different layout, but watching this thing perform so continuous with pin down makes me giddy.

Why are you hijacking this thread with a topic that doesn't even relate to what this post is talking about?  :o ::)

He definitely makes the pin down layout on the Aspect look amazing.  Pin down layouts tend to be hit or miss for me, but this does look impressive.

Hey guys, so I drilled an Aspect recently - about 3 weeks ago now. I only practice these days due to COVID (league is on hiatus), but I'm able to bowl on sport patterns. I've tried it on short, medium, and a long pattern - and it performed admirably on all three, actually.

I went with a 4.5 pin to PAP, with a 65* VAL angle...this puts the pin right under the bridge about 3/4 an inch.

First thoughts: it's cleaner through the heads than I thought, but still reads the mids REALLY well. It's chuggy with very nice continuation through the deck. The one thing I like most about the ball is that it knows what it is, and that's that. It's a great benchmark piece.

It's the storm dimension all over again, can't wait to punch one myself

This is 100% true. I had the Dimension and Second Dimension - this core still does the same roll, with a 2020 strength cover. There's a part of me that wishes this core got the S78R cover - imagine the traction of that cover with this core!

Going to try mine on the Badger.  It looked decent on a fresh house shot but I think I will like it better on flatter patteena
